It take a village
Here at Dyverse Community we understand how hard it can be to navigate uncharted waters alone. We want to brace all the challenges, triumphs, and life in general with you. It can be hard for many people to understand what Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are and we are all here to learn and grow together. It is our mission to be a safe place to seek knowledge and ask questions about the topics pertaining towards IDD. Please join us on this journey of forming connections and learning together.
How we got started
Dyverse Community resulted from a cumulative project created by Keanna Caldwell in order to know what is it like to find resources for children with IDD. While she travled and studied for school she found it to be difficult to learn about and acquire these resources. She wanted to create a safe space for families and educators of children with IDD to learn more about what is available to them.
What we do
We reach out to professionals in the field of IDD and Neurodiversity and ask them to share topics that address a treatment or intervention. We then have them create a video and share that information with you. You can watch these at your leisure or in the comfort of you own safe space.
